KaboomTodo Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how KaboomTodo handles information when you use the iPhone and iPad app.

Summary

• Your TODO list, app settings, countdown state, and daily completion count are stored on your device.
• KaboomTodo does not operate an account system or a server for storing TODO content.
• Firebase Analytics is used to understand broad product usage.
• Firebase Crashlytics is used to diagnose app crashes and non-fatal errors explicitly reported by the app.
• Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform may be used for ads, personalized ads, and consent choices.

Information Handled by the App

• On-device TODO data: task titles, created dates, countdown state, settings, and daily completion count.
• Analytics events: app launch, TODO add, arm, cancel, complete, delete, and settings toggle events.
• Crash diagnostics: crash stack traces, relevant app state, device and operating system information, and non-fatal errors explicitly recorded by the developer.
• Advertising and consent data: Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google User Messaging Platform may process data needed for ads, invalid traffic prevention, measurement, and consent choices.
• Support messages: if you email us, we receive the address and message contents you choose to send.

App Store Privacy Label

Based on the current App Store Connect privacy answers, the app or included third-party SDKs may collect the following data types:

• Coarse location
• Device ID
• Product interaction
• Advertising data
• Crash data
• Performance data
• Other diagnostic data

Coarse location, device ID, product interaction, and advertising data may be linked to the user or device. Crash data, performance data, and other diagnostic data are treated as not linked to the user’s identity under the current setup.

Device ID, including the advertising identifier when available, may be used for tracking for personalized ads if you allow App Tracking Transparency permission.

The app does not collect precise location, contact information, health and fitness information, financial information, sensitive information, contacts, user content, browsing history, search history, purchases, surroundings data, or body data.

Analytics

KaboomTodo uses Firebase Analytics to understand broad app usage and improve the product. TODO title text is not sent as an analytics parameter. TODO add events use values such as title length and total count instead of the original text.

Crash Diagnostics

KaboomTodo uses Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose fatal crashes and non-fatal errors explicitly reported by the app. Crashlytics may process crash stack traces, relevant app state, and device and operating system information. When used with Analytics, non-identifying activity immediately before a crash may be included as breadcrumbs. The app does not send TODO title text or user identifiers in Crashlytics logs or custom keys.

Advertising and Consent

KaboomTodo may show Google AdMob ads. The app uses Google User Messaging Platform to present consent forms, IDFA messages, or privacy options where required.

Google and its partners may process information for ad delivery, developer advertising or marketing, personalized ads, ad measurement, fraud prevention, and consent management. The exact data processed can depend on your region, consent choice, App Tracking Transparency choice, device settings, and Google SDK behavior.

Tracking and IDFA

The app may request App Tracking Transparency permission before Google Mobile Ads starts. If you allow tracking, Google Mobile Ads may use the IDFA for personalized ads and measurement. If you deny tracking, the app can still request ads, but Google Mobile Ads does not send the IDFA in the ad request.

Data Retention and Deletion

On-device TODO data remains on your device until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app. Analytics, crash diagnostics, advertising, and consent records are handled according to Firebase, Google Mobile Ads, and Google User Messaging Platform policies.

Children

KaboomTodo is not directed to children under the age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this page when the app, analytics, crash diagnostics, advertising, or legal requirements change. The date above shows the latest revision.
